Baba Sultan-Sureti Baba zaviyesi, Isparta’nın Eğirdir ilçesinde bulunmaktadır. Hamitoğulları Beyliği döneminde kurulan Sureti Baba zaviyesi, Eğirdir ve çevresinin Osmanlı Devleti sınırlarına ilhak edilmesiyle Osmanlı Devleti’nde varlığını sürdürmeye devam etmiştir. Kuruluşunda Bektaşi tarikatına mensup olan Sureti Baba zaviyesi, 1826’da Yeniçeri Ocağı ile birlikte Bektaşiliğin de yasaklanmasıyla faaliyetlerine ara vermiştir. Bu dönemde diğer Bektaşi tekkelerinde olduğu gibi Sureti Baba zaviyesinin mallarına Devlet tarafından el konulmuştur. Bir müddet sonra yeniden açılan Sureti Baba zaviyesi, bu kez bir Nakşi zaviyesi olarak varlığını sürdürmüştür. XIV. yüzyıldan itibaren varlığı bilinen Sureti Baba zaviyesinin, 1925 yılında tekke ve zaviyelerin kapatılmasıyla varlığı sona ermiştir. Ele alınan bu çalışma Sureti Baba zaviyesinin kuruluşundan kapanış tarihi olan 1925 yılına kadar ki zaman diliminde zaviyenin geçirdiği aşamaları inceleyecektir.
Father Sultan-Sureti Father's possession is located in the district of Eğirdir of Isparta. His father, who was founded in the time of the Hamito-Sons of the Beethoven, continued his existence in the Ottoman State with the inclusion of his surroundings to the Ottoman State borders. In his establishment, the Sureti Baba zaviyesi, which belongs to the Bektaşi tarikat, interrupted its activities in 1826 with the prohibition of Bektaşi. In this period, as in the other Bektaşi texts, the Sureti Father's possessions were handled by the State. After a while, the Sureti Father's wing, this time, continued to exist as a Nakşi wing. The XIV. Since the century its existence has ended with the closure of the Sureti Baba zaviyu, in 1925. This study will examine the stages of the father's establishment until 1925, which is the closing date of the father's establishment.
