Ortaokul Öğrencilerinin Basınç Kavramıyla İlgili Anlayışlarını Ölçmeye Yöneik Bir Test Geliştirme Çalışması

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul fen bilimleri dersi programında yer alan basınç konusu ile ilgili çoktan seçmeli sorulardan oluşan bir başarı testi geliştirmektir. Başarı testinin geçerliğini sağlamak için, 2 fen alanı uzmanı ve 2 fen bilimleri öğretmeni tarafından incelenmesi sonucu, öğrenci seviyesi ve kapsam açısından uygun bulunmayan 5 maddenin testten çıkarılmasına karar verilmiştir. Uzman görüşü neticesinde ortaya çıkan 20 sorudan oluşan başarı testinin pilot uygulaması yapılmıştır.  Güvenirlik ve geçerlik çalışmalarını yapmak amacıyla, hazırlanan başarı testi 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılının bahar döneminde, ülkemizdeki 4 büyükşehirde öğrenim görmekte olan 7. sınıftaki 200 öğrenciye uygulanmıştır. Başarı testinin güvenirliğini belirlemek için ise KR-20 iç tutarlılık katsayısı hesaplanmış ve KR-20 iç tutarlılık katsayısı .73 olarak bulunmuştur. Yapılan analizler sonucu, geliştirilen 20 maddelik başarı testi güvenilir ve geçerlidir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a success test consisting of already selectively asked questions about the subject of pressure included in the high school science course. In order to ensure the validity of the success test, the result of the study by 2 scientists and 2 scientists, the 5 matters that are not appropriate in terms of student level and scope have been decided to be removed from the test. The experimental test of the success test consisting of 20 questions arising from the expert opinion was conducted.  In order to carry out reliability and validity studies, the prepared success test was applied to 200 students of 7th class who are studying in 4 major cities in our country during the spring of the 2018-2019 academic year. To determine the reliability of the success test, the internal consistency ratio of KR-20 was calculated and the internal consistency ratio of KR-20 was found as .73. As a result of the analyses made, the 20 material success test developed is reliable and valid.

Development Of An Instrument For Measuring Secondary School Students' Understanding Of Pressure

The aim of this study is to develop an achievement test consisting of multiple choice questions about the topic of pressure covered in the secondary school science curriculum. In order to ensure the validity of the achievement test, it was decided, as a result of examination by 2 science experts and 2 science teachers, to remove 5 items which were not found suitable in terms of student level and scope. The piloting of the 20-question achievement test constructed as a result of expert opinion was carried out. For the purpose of reliability and validity checks, the achievement test was given to 200 grade 7 students who were studying in state schools in four of the metropolitan cities in Turkey in the spring semester of the 2018-2019 academic year. In order to determine the reliability of the achievement test, the internal consistency coefficient of KR-20 was calculated and the KR-20 internal consistency coefficient was found as .73. The analyses of the data showed that the 20-item achievement test is reliable and valid.
