Türk-Alman resmî ilişkilerinin 1924 yılında tekrar başlamasıyla, Almanya’nın Türkiye’ye ilgisi yeniden artmıştır. Bu ilgi neticesinde Türkiye hakkında haberler, Alman basınında geniş yer bulmuştur. Atatürk’ün ölümü üzerine de Alman basınında yer alan haber sayısı oldukça fazladır. Mahalli ve ulusal bütün Alman gazeteleri, Atatürk’ün ölümü üzerine onun hayatını ve icraatlarını anlatan geniş haberlerini üzüntüyle vermişlerdir. Bu haberler ışığında, Almanların da Türklerin acılarını paylaştıkları görülmektedir.

As the Turkish-German official relations began again in 1924, Germany’s interest in Turkey increased again. The news about Turkey has found a wide range of places in the German press. The number of news on the death of Atatürk in the German press is quite high. All local and national German newspapers have sadly delivered their broad news about Atatürk's death and his life and execution. In the light of these news, it is clear that the Germans also share the suffering of the Turks.
