Abstract:

There are a number of features that students in each community and every country need to be awarded. Social information is also responsible for providing these features. The goal of social information education is to educate a good citizen by preparing students for the future. In this context, the study, according to the current family and women's concepts, made an assessment of the women's image in the 1968, 1998, 2005 and 2018 Social Information Course Teaching Programs. The study aims to contribute to understanding the changes that the female image has undergone in the teaching programmes and to develop solutions to increasing female problems. In 1968, 1998, 2005 and 2018, the Social Information Course is comparatively studied in the teaching programs how the female image is dealt with. In the framework of the objective, the quality research method was used. The data of the research was obtained through the document review. In the framework of the research, the 1968, 1998, 2005 and 2018 Social Information Course Teaching Programs were studied. The data obtained is analyzed by visual analysis. The study found that in the dimensions addressed in the programs studied, the female image was directly or indirectly included. It is also seen that the achievements included in the programs are mostly part of the position of the woman and the value given to the woman in the cognitive and sensual dimension.
