Bireyin eylemi pek çok kural tarafından belirlenmeye çalışılır. Bu belirlenim mutlak bir yasa ile ya da göreli bir düşünce olarak çıkmış olabilir. Fakat bu belirlenim elbette herkes için geçerli olmak zorunda değil, nitekim zorunlu olması da beklenemez. Çünkü insan kendi eyleminin kararını kendisi verir. Fakat bu kararı verirken elbette doğuracağı sonuçlar bakımından diğer insanları da gözetmesi gerekir. Felsefe tarihi boyunca ahlak felsefesinin önemli bir konusu olan sorumluluk ve eylem arasındaki ilişki ile ilgili kanıtlar, günümüzde de süren bir tartışma konusudur. Özellikle modern toplumla birlikte, öznenin sorumluluğu ve kolektif sorumluluk tartışması daha önemli hale gelmiştir. İnsanlık bir topluluk olarak birlikte yaşamaya başladığından beri, bu toplumu oluşturan bireyler ya da insanların eylemleri topluluk içinde bulunan diğer insanlar için her zaman önemli olmuştur. Çünkü belli bir eylemsellik içinde olan insan, bu eylemsellik ile birlikte belli sonuçların gerçekleşmesine yol açar. Bu nedenle birey ya da kişi eylemde bulunurken kendi eyleminin sorumlusu haline gelir. Fakat bu sorumluluk kendisine ait olduğu gibi diğer kişileri de bu sorumluluğa bağlar.
The individual’s action is determined by many rules. This determination may have come out by an absolute law or as a relative thought. But this determination of course does not have to apply to everyone, and it is not expected that the nature of it is mandatory. Because man makes his own decision. But when it comes to this decision, it must, of course, take care of the other people in terms of the consequences they will produce. The evidence of the relationship between responsibility and action, which has been an important subject of the moral philosophy throughout the history of philosophy, is a subject of debate that continues today. Especially with the modern society, the responsibility of the essence and the collective responsibility debate have become more important. Since humanity began to live together as a community, the actions of individuals or people that formed this society have always been important for other people in the community. For the person who is in a certain action, with this action, leads to the realization of certain consequences. Therefore, the individual or person becomes responsible for his own action when he is in action. But this responsibility lies the others, as it belongs to him.
