Çalışma, Hayâtî Ahmed Efendi’nin (ö. 1229/1814) Risâletu’l-irâdeti’l-cüzʾîye adlı risâlesinin muhtevasını değerlendirmeyi hedeflediği gibi risâlenin özgün ve literatüre katkı sağlayıcı taraflarına dikkat çekecektir. Ayrıca risâlenin tahkik ve tercümesi de yapılmak suretiyle risâle literatüre kazandırılacaktır. Osmanlı ilim çevresinden irâde-i cüzʾiyye hakkında muhtelif nitelikte bir yazım halkasının neşvünema bulduğu ve geliştiği malûmdur. İşte çalışmamıza konu olan bu risâle söz konusu yazım halkasından bir nüve konumundadır. İnsan fiilleri hakkındaki görüşleri temellendirmeye yönelik olan muhtasar hüviyetteki bu risâlenin, yoğun tartışma noktalarına girmeden konuyu derlemeye çalıştığı görülmektedir. Risâlenin genel anlamda konuyu anlaşılır kılma ve konu hakkındaki yaklaşımları belirlemeyi hedeflediği söylenebilir.
The study aims to evaluate the content of the risālah named Risālah al-irādah al-juzʾiyyah by Hayātī Ahmad Afendī (d. 1229/1814), as well as to draw attention to the original and contributing sides of the risālah. In addition, in this study, the critical edition and translation of the risālah will also be done. It is known that a writing circle of various qualities about the al-irādah al-juzʾiyyah from the Ottoman intellectual circle found and developed. This summary (mukhtaṣār) risālah, which aims to ground the views on human actions, seems to try to summarize the issue without getting into intense discussion points. It can be said that the risālah aims to make the subject understandable in general terms and to determine the approaches on the subject.
