Urartu Dininde Kurban Kavramı ve Kurban Uygulamaları

Abstract:

Bu makalede, Urartu kültüründe hangi tür faaliyetler için kurban kesildiği, kurban hayvanlarının türleri veya kurbanda uygulanması gereken normlar ile ilgili arkeolojik ve yazılıverileri değerlendirilerek kurban düşüncesinin Urartu dini içindeki konumu ve hangi uygulamalarda kullandığı konulan aydınlatılması hedeflenmiştir. Özellikle yazılı belgeler kurban olgusunun Urartu kültüründe önemli bir yeri olduğunu göstermiştir. Aslında bu kavrambirçok kültürde benzerdir ve bazı uygulamalarda Urartu'nun da bazı benzerlikleri paylaştığı anlaşılmaktadır. Çalışmada aynca Urartu'daki kurban uygulamaları hakkındaki sorulara yeni bakış açılan getirilmeye çalışılmıştır.
