Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the awareness of understanding that supernova read, understanding that read and reading attitudes according to gender, pre-school education, love reading books, parents and educational status variables. The relational scan model used research was done with 313 fifth-class students who studied in Tekirdağ Illi Palace District. The awareness of understanding that students read over-cognitively was developed in 2003 by Gelen's "According to understanding that students read over-cognitively"; the level of understanding that students read about the Turkish course was measured by the "Balon" text prepared by Demirel in 1995 and the reading attitudes by the "According to reading attitude" developed by McKenna and Kear in 1990. According to the research, the awareness of understanding that transcendental reading, the awareness of understanding that reading and the attitude to reading are higher than the students who say they love reading, the girls who do not learn before school, the girls who do not learn before school, the girls who do not learn before school, the girls who do not learn before school, the girls who do not learn before school. It has been determined that there is no meaningful relationship between the understanding of the student’s supernatural reading and the understanding of the Turkish reading and the reading attitudes while there is a low level of meaningful relationship between the understanding of the student’s reading and the reading attitude.
