Abstract:

This study was carried out in order to determine the problems experienced by primary teachers between 2000-2021 with thematic analysis method and to determine the trending topics in the specified year intervals. Studies on a determined subject in thematic analysis studies are examined descriptively and content, trends and results in these studies are determined and presented to the reader. For this purpose, studies related to the problems experienced by primary teachers in Turkey were reviewed in the literature. As a result of the reviewing, a total of 113 studies published between 2000-2021 on the current education problems of primary teachers were included in the research. The studies obtained by the literature review were examined according to the type of study, the subject of the research, the type and design of the research, the sample, the data collection tool and the results of the data analysis. As a result of the analyzes made, it was concluded that 83 of the published studies on the current education problems of primary teachers consisted of articles and 30 of them were postgraduate theses. It was determined that the highest value was reached in both master's thesis and article studies between 2016-2021. When the research designs used in the studies were examined, it was determined that the most preferred research design was the scanning model; the most used data collection tool was the scale; the most preferred research topic between the years 2000-2021 was related to the burnout problems of primary teachers; the most trending research type was qualitative research; the most trend sample group studied was primary school teachers,it can be said that research on the problems encountered in distance education processes has increased between the years 2016-2021. Suggestions according to study and researchers were presented.
