Background: Organizational loyalty is a feeling that increases employees job commitment and improves general success of organizations. Objective: In this study, it was aimed to identify factors affecting the level of nurses’ organizational loyalty. Method: The study sample is a total of 413 nurses at Ankara Training and Research Hospital. But, only 113 nurses (26%) accepted to participate in the study and a questionnaire was used to collect data. It consisted of two sections. Firts section contained four questions to measure the level of nurses’ organizational loyalt, and a total of 27 questions including the loyalty toward top management, empowerment, personel education (in-service traning), team effectiveness, performance evaluation system and sallary sytem to determine predictors of his/her loyalty. Second section included six questions related to participants’ characteristics. Results: The results of regression analysis showed that the level of nurses’ loyalty was significiantly affected by his/her job satisfaction (t=9.031, p<.05) and employee education (t=2.111, p<.05), but not affected by the loyalty toward top management, empowerment, team effectiveness, performance evaluation system and sallary system (p>.05). R square of the regression model showed that 61% variance in the nurses’ loyalty was explained. Conclusion: The results of the study present information hospitals managers to improve nurses loyalty.
