Abstract:

In this study, we aimed at determining the vitreus humorde with the DAG associated with aging. Between October 2018 and January 2019, patients with brain diffusion MRG examination with the keyword search feature in our database were scaned retrospectively and patients with viral bleeding, glucoma, uncontrolled hypertension or diabetes mellitus were left out of study. After all, 211 patients were included in the study and the patients were divided into decades according to their age. Regression analysis was conducted between the age of the events and the values of the vitreus humour ADC. The average age of 211 patients (102 women, 109 men) included in the study was 53.8 (± 21.4) years and 3 years and 89 years. Vitreus humour ADC values showed linear increase with age and statistically significant positive correlation was found (p<0,001). When compared the values of vitreus humour ADC between decades, there was no significant difference between the first three decades (p>0.005) and statistically significant difference between the other decades (p<0,005). The result Vitreus humorde is important to develop more effective treatment to understand structural changes associated with aging. According to the results of our study, the values of vitreus humour ADC showed a positive correlation with age while not showing meaningful differences in the first three decades.
