Abstract:

Beekeeping activities in Turkey between the years 2018 and 2007 are discussed in this study. The current status of honey production and number of hives in the process has been demonstrated. Turkey's 81 provinces are carried out more or less in beekeeping. While the geographic regions were examined, data were also included in the provincial scale. In terms of production and beehive, it is seen that the Black Sea Region takes the first place and the Southeast Anatolia Region takes the first place. In terms of production, while Ordu was the first with 16994 tons in 2018, Kilis takes the last place with 43 tons. Muğla takes the first place in the number of hives with 935463 units, while Uşak takes the last place with 8479 units concept does not exist in current literature.
