Abstract Turkey is a very rich country about mineral water and thermal spring due to its geology and morphological structure. The number of these sources in our country are not absolutely known yet. However, Bursa has been keeping its fame on her thermal spring and curative water during history.Bursa has been attracted attention because of its curative water since the Roman Empires. It is known that some structure were built in Bursa in the period of Emperor Traianus (98-117) and Hadrianus (117-138). Additionally, baths were built in Çekirge District of Bursa during the Emperor Justinianus (527-565). New baths and curative water structure had been continuously built during the Byzantine Empire. On one hand, Ottoman Empire tried to keep and repair the rest of Byzantine Empire, on the other hand she continued to build new thermal water structures. In the course of this article, the Thermal Springs of Bursa, focused by Prof.Dr.Nüzhet Şakir Dirisu with a paper presented during the 3rd National Congress of Medicine which was held on 17-19 September 1929, will be revisited by applying his perspective.
