Chronic motor tic disorder is a psychiatric disorder characterized by persistent single or multiple motor tics. Alpha-2 agonists and antipsychotic drugs are often used in the treatment. There are a limited number of studies suggesting the efficacy of topiramate use for tic disorders. Here, we reported a pediatric case with atypical autism whose motor tics were almost completely ameliorated with the use of topiramate
