There are several methodologies for teaching football that are used or not, defended by authors, including the global analytical methodologies and new trends. In this work we will know them and whether the teaching -learning process is effective for children from 6 to 10 years old. Besides investigating if there are lessons planning and student assessment, the investigation was based on questionnaires delivered in some futsal schools to 28 teachers who were about 31 years old. However only 13 were sent back answered. The questionnaire consisted in 20 closed questions: 8 about teacher education, 11 about methodology, evaluation and planning and one about child's perception of the main part of the class. Through the studies, we noticed a significant improvement in the academic quality of teachers, according to studies comparing Melo et al. (2006). The methodology evaluation, planning and perception of students comparatives, were not considered satisfactory. Therefore the unsatisfactory results have not shaken the importance of the studies to complete the work.
