İki Savaş Arası Dönem olarak adlandırdığımız 1918-1939 yılları arasındaki dönem, Polonyalılar için gerek siyasi gerek edebi bağlamda yeniliklerin ve beraberinde getirdiği heyecanların yaşandığı bir zaman dilimidir. Yaklaşık yirmi kadar İkinci Dünya Savaşına kadar özgür bir devlet olarak varlığını sürdüren Polonya’da özellikle bu dönemin ilk yıllarında edebiyat çevresinde coşku dolu nidalar yükselir. Ne yazarların “tutsaklık” sözcüğünü telaffuz etmeye ne de geçmişini artık unutmak isteyen halkın bu sözcüğü duymaya niyeti vardı. Özgürlük coşkusuyla dolu ilk yılların ardından yaşanan hem ekonomik hem de iktidar mücadelesinin beraberinde getirdiği sıkıntılar, ülkeyi bir kargaşaya sürüklemiştir. Bazı edebiyatçılar bu kargaşa ortamının beraberinde yeni bir felaket getireceğini ve kıyamet günlerinin yakın olduğunu eselerine yansıtmışlardır. Bu çalışmada tam da böylesi bir dönemde edebiyat yaşamına başlayan Czesław Miłosz’un ilk sanatsal adımları incelenecektir.
The period between the years 1918-1939, which we call the two-war period, is a period of time in which for the Poles the political and literary context of the innovations and the enthusiasm it brings with. In Poland, which continued to exist as a free state until approximately twenty-two World War II, especially in the early years of this period, enthusiastic nids arise around literature. The writers did not intend to pronounce the word "prisonment" nor the people who wanted to forget their past had the intention to hear this word. The difficulties brought together by both economic and power struggle after the first years of freedom enthusiasm have driven the country into a confusion. Some literary scientists have reflected that this confusing environment will bring with it a new catastrophe and that the Day of Resurrection is near. This study will study the first artistic steps of Czesław Miłosz, who began his literary life in this period.
The period between 1918-1939, which is called the Interwar Period, was a time of political and literary innovations and excitements for Poles. In Poland, which continued its existence as a free state until the Second World War for about twenty years, enthusiastic voices rose in the literary circles, especially in the first years of the period. The writers had no intention of uttering the word “captivity”, nor did the people, who wanted to forget their past, to hear it. After the first years of full of enthusiasm for freedom, the economic problems and power struggles brought the country into a turmoil. Some writers have reflected in their works that this chaotic environment will bring a new disaster and the doomsday is near. In this study, the first artistic steps of Czesław Miłosz, who started his literary life in this period, will be examined.
