Abstract:

Bu çalışmada, İzmir Ticaret Borsası'nda işlem gören Ege Standart I pamuk cinsine ait geçmiş fiyatların birbirleriyle ilişkili olup olmadığı araştırılmıştır. Bu amaçla koşu testi (runs test) ve serisel korelasyon (serial correlation) analizlerinden yararlanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, Ege Standart I pamuk fiyatlarının birbirinden bağımsız olduğunu göstermektedir. Buna göre, pamuk fiyatları tesadüfi olarak değişmektedir. Bu nedenle, teknik analiz çalışmaları yaparak, İzmir Ticaret Borsası'nda anormal kârlar sağlamak olanaksızdır.
