Abstract:

Today, as a result of population growth, technological, economic and cultural changes, rent fights and the disappearance of open and green spaces, cities become a mentally and physically insufficient environment for human life. In the face of deteriorating environmental conditions, the city wants to create a healthier, functional and aesthetic landscape. Meeting the recreational needs of the people and improving the physical structure of the city depends only on establishing a correct open and green area system. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the place of ŞSP in the urban green space system, its function, its effects on people and the suitability of the reinforcements in the park in terms of landscape architecture criteria. According to the results of the survey, the lack of maintenance of the park, incompatibility of the reinforcement elements, negligence of the existing irrigation system was determined as deficiencies. The unavailability of the existing irrigation system in the park has also affected the appearance of the grass and all plants.
