Abstract:

Depending on the consciousness of the individual’s own desires, interests and skills, the choice of a profession and the desire to specialize can occur with a perception that shows determination at the level of consciousness while demonstrating pragmatic approaches. This is why the perception of the individual about the profession he chooses is important. In particular, as a profession that contributes to the growth of future generations, teaching is among the critical professions in this regard. Thus, with this research, the Image-Business Teaching Program and Visual Arts Teacher Candidates are designed to reveal and compare the teaching profession perceptions. The research group was formed by the Picture-Business Teaching Program that participated in the Special Talent Exam and graduated Visual Arts Teacher Candidates. The data of the research was obtained using the "square of perception regarding the teaching profession" developed by Obesity and Acat (2003). The findings were discussed according to the area concerned.
