Organizational support is one of the human resources strategies developed to increase or maintain the level of employee performance for the businesses they are affiliated with. In this context, it is a concept that arises as a result of employees' need to get material and moral attention and feel valuable apart from the wage they receive. Performance evaluation, on the other hand, is a measurement system that is used to determine the extent to which employees are loyal to the standards established by the organizations in order to achieve their goals and objectives. The goal of this article is to examine the effect of perceived organizational support theory on the performance of the employees. In this study, the question of "Does the perceived organizational support affect the performance of the employees?" is analyzed. The survey study, which is chosen as the research method in this article, was carried out with the participation of the employees working in the Fire Brigade on the European Side of Istanbul. The data obtained during the research process were analyzed with the SPSS 22 statistical program. As a result of the data obtained from the employees participating in the research, it has been observed that perceived organizational support has a positive and significant effect on the performance of employees. In addition, it was found that there is a significant difference between the variables of the total period of time worked at the current workplace and individual performance according to the demographic variable analysis of the research..
