Farklı özelliklere sahip bireyler ya da gruplar, zaman zaman eşit olmayan muamelelere uğramakta ve bir tehdit olarak algılanarak çeşitli nefret söylemlerine maruz kalmaktadırlar. Bu söylemlerin günümüzde herhangi bir denetimden geçmeden kolayca yayıldığı ortamlardan en önemlisi de sosyal medyadır. İletişim teknolojilerinin sunduğu özgürlükçü ortam birbirinden farklı düşüncelerin özgürce dolaşımını olanaklı hale getirirken, diğer taraftan ötekileştirmelere ve nefret suçlarının işlenmesine de zemin hazırlamaktadır. Bu çalışma, sosyal medya kamusal alanında sıklıkla ötekileştirmeye maruz kalan Z kuşağına yönelik Ekşi Sözlük’teki nefret söylemi pratiklerini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak Ekşi Sözlük’te Z kuşağı ile ilgili açılan başlıklar detaylı taramayla bulunmuş ve elde edilen 227 başlık içinde en fazla entrye (girdi) sahip olduğu için Z Kuşağı başlığı örneklem olarak seçilmiştir. Bu başlık altında yer alan 1610 yorum 15 Haziran 2022 tarihinde herhangi bir veri kaybı olmaması amacıyla Selenium test aracı ile çekilmiştir. Analiz için elde edilen entryler daha sonra nefret söylemi kategorilerine ayrılarak betimsel analizi yöntemi ile yorumlanmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda Z kuşağının, sosyal medya bağımlısı, apolitik ve toplumsal değerlerden uzak bireyler olarak yansıtıldığı görülmüştür. Aynı zamanda çeşitli küfür, hakaret ve düşmanca ifadelerle de nefret söylemlerine maruz kaldıkları saptanmıştır.
Individuals or groups with different characteristics are treated unequally and are exposed to various hate speeches by being perceived as a threat. This study aims to reveal the hate speech practices in Ekşi Sözlük for the Z generation, who are often exposed to othering in the social media public realm. First of all, in this context, the titles is opened in Ekşi Sözlük about the Z generation are found by a detailed search and the Z Generation title with the highest number of entries is selected among the 227 titles obtained. 1610 comments under this title are taken on June 15, 2022 with the Selenium test tool in order to avoid any data loss. The entries obtained for the analysis are divided into hate speech categories. Then, these inputs are evaluated by a descriptive analysis method. As a result of the study, generation Z, social media addicts, they are shown as individuals who are apolitical and far from social values; profanity. It was also determined that they were subjected to hate speech with hostile expressions.
