Bu çalışmanın amacı, sınıf öğretmeni adaylarının bölme işleminin eşit paylaşım ve kayıp çarpan anlamlarına odaklanan problemleri çözme becerilerini incelemektir. İç Anadolu Bölgesi’nde yer alan bir devlet üniversitesinin Sınıf Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı’nda öğrenim gören 60 öğretmen adayı ile yürütülen bu çalışmanın verileri, 8 problemden oluşan problem çözme testi ile toplanmıştır. Öğretmen adaylarının problem çözümleri Verschaffel, De Corte ve Lasure (1994) tarafından geliştirilen çerçeve ile analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda, öğretmen adaylarının eşit paylaşım anlamına odaklanan bölme işlemi problemlerine, kayıp çarpan anlamına odaklanan bölme işlemi problemlerine kıyasla daha gerçekçi yanıtlar verdikleri görülmüştür
The aim of this study is to study the skills of class teacher candidates to solve problems focused on equal sharing and losing meaning of the division process. The data of this study, conducted with 60 teachers candidates who studied in the class education department of a state university located in the Anatolian region, were collected with a problem-solving test consisting of 8 problems. Teacher candidates’ problem solutions were analyzed by the framework developed by Verschaffel, De Corte and Lasure (1994) . Analysis found that teachers’ candidates gave more realistic answers to the division process problems focused on equal sharing, compared to the division process problems focused on losing.
