Özet:

We aimed to determine locations and statues of affiliated hospitals in Turkey where increasing number of doctors and medical schools. The word "affiliation", which means " close relations" has come to the fore in our country with agreements involving common use of centers, especially between the Ministry of Health and medical faculties in the last decade. When we look at the number of students, approximately 7500(10%) students are studying at affiliated faculty, 55000(73%) students are studying at non-affiliated faculty. While the number of professors and associate professors in affiliated hospitals is approximately 1230, this number is found to be approximately 7000 in non-affiliated faculties. Looking at the number of students per faculty member (professor and associate professor), 6.1 in affiliated faculties and 7.8 in non-affiliated faculties. When other faculty member included to rates, it was calculated as 3,78 versus 5,78. When we look at these rates, it is not wrong to think that medical students can have a closer relationship with the faculty members and can spend more time with faculty members in affiliated faculty.
