Bu araştırma Rosch ve Collins (2020) tarafından geliştirilen “The Ready, Willing, and Able Leader Scale of Student Leadership Capacity (RWAL)” ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlanması, geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasının yapılması amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yaklaşımlarından tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş Türkiye’nin Batı Karadeniz bölgesinde bulunan bir devlet üniversitenin eğitim fakültesinde öğrenim gören 351 öğretmen adayı oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma sonuçları SPSS 25.0 ve AMOS 24.0 programları ile analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan DFA analizi sonucunda X2/Sd değerinin 3.17, RMSEA değerinin .05, NFI değerinin .92, NNFI değerinin .96, CFI değerinin .97, RMR değerinin .05, SRMR değerinin .05 ve AGFI değerinin .90 olduğu belirlenmiştir. RWAL ölçeğinin Türkçe formunun CR değerlerinin .70, AVE değerlerinin .50 ve Cronbach’s Alpha değerlerinin .70 ve üzerinde olduğu belirlenmiştir. %27’lik alt grup üst grup ortalamalarının karşılaştırılması sonucunda tüm maddelerin anlamlı farklılık oluşturduğu ve güvenilir düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar RWAL ölçeğinin Türkçeye uyarlanan formunun geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu ve uygun değer aralıklarında bulunduğunu göstermektedir.
This study attempted to adapt the Ready, Willing, and Able Leader (RWAL) Scale of Student Leadership Capacity scale by Rosch and Collins (2020) into Turkish and conduct a validity and reliability study. The survey method, one of the quantitative research approaches, was employed in this regard. The research study group consisted of 351 teacher candidates studying at the faculty of education of a state university located in the Western Black Sea region of Turkey, determined by a simple random sampling method. Findings were analyzed with SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 24.0 programs. Through the DFA analysis, it was determined that X2/Sd value was 3.17, RMSEA value was .05, NFI value was .92, NNFI value was .96, CFI value was .97, RMR value was .05, SRMR value was .05 and AGFI value was .90. It was found out that the CR values of the Turkish form of the RWAL scale were .70, AVE values of .50 and Cronbach's Alpha values of .70 and above. As a result of comparing the 27% lower group and upper group averages, it was concluded that all items made a significant difference and were at a reliable level. The results showed that the Turkish version of the RWAL scale is valid and reliable and has appropriate value ranges.
