Kur’ân-ı Kerim, nâzil olduğu günden bugüne insanların dikkatini çekmiş ve inanan, inanmayan pek çok kişi onunla meşgul olmuştur. Kur’ân-ı Kerim üzerine yapılan araştırmaların yoğunlaştığı ilimlerden biri de tefsir ilmidir. Yazılan tefsirler, müfessirin birikiminin bir göstergesi olduğu gibi çalışmalarından hareketle, tefsirlerinde kullandığı metodlara ve istifade ettikleri pek çok ilmi disipline da erişilmektedir. Biz çalışmamızda son dönem müfessirlerinden Suriyeli âlim, Vehbe b. Mustafa ez-Zuhaylî’nin et-Tefsiru’l-münîr’ini ele aldık. Vehbe ez-Zuhaylî’nin et-Tefsîru’l-münîr fi’l-‘akîdeti ve’ş-şerî’ati ve’l-menhec adını verdiği eserinden hareketle tefsir müktesebatını güzel bir şekilde hazmettiği görülmektedir. Tefsirinde i’rab, lügat, belâğat, esbâb-ı nüzûl, ahkâm vb. çeşitli ilimleri cem etmiş dirayetli bir âlimdir. Tefsir, hem rivayet hem de dirayet tefsiri özelliği taşımaktadır. Biz çalışmamızda Vehbe ez-Zuhaylî’nin hayatına, ilmi şahsiyetine ve et-Tefsiru’l-münîr’in mukaddimesinden hareketle tefsirinde kullandığı metodlara ve eserinin muhtevasına yer vereceğiz. Çalışmamızın, müfessirin ilmi şahsiyetinin daha iyi tanınmasına, tefsirde kullandığı metodun ortaya konmasına ve et-Tefsîru’l-münîr ya da müellifin diğer eserleri üzerine yapılabilecek çalışmalar konusunda araştırmacılara yol gösterebileceği kanaatindeyiz.
