Turizmin ülkemizin değerli gelir kaynaklarından birisi olması nedeniyle, gelirlerin analizi ve modellenmesi önem arz etmektedir. Turizm sektörünün içerisinde yer alan kuruluşların, mahalli idarelerin ve diğer paydaşların turizm gelirlerinin mevcut durum analizlerine ve gelecek dönem tahminlerine göre planlamaları yapmalarından dolayı bu alanda çalışmalar yapılması önemli bir ihtiyaç haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışmada, 2012-2023 dönemindeki aylık bazdaki turist sayısı, her bir ziyaretçinin yaptığı harcama ve turizmden elde edilen gelir bilgilerinden oluşan veriler kullanılarak çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi ile turizm gelirlerine yönelik gelecek dönem tahmin modeli oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan tahmin modelinin geçerliliği R2 testi ile değerlendirilmiş, yaklaşık 0,92 R2 değeri ile tahmin geçerliliği ortaya konulmuştur. Tahmin ortalama yüzde hata değeri 8,9 olarak elde edilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın sonucunda, ilgili kurumlara ışık tutacak uygun bir modelin inşası ortaya konmakta ve geleceğe yönelik öngörülere yer verilmektedir.
Since tourism is one of the valuable income items of our country, analysis and modeling of income is important. Since the organizations, local administrations and other stakeholders in the tourism sector make plans according to the current situation analysis of tourism revenues and future forecasts, studies in this field have become a necessity. In this study, a future forecasting model for tourism revenues was created by using data that consist of the tourist numbers on a monthly basis, the expenditure of each visitor and the income generated from tourism through multiple linear regression analysis for the period 2012-2023. The survival of the created prediction model was evaluated with the R2 test, and it was revealed that the prediction came true with an R2 value of approximately 0.92. The average prediction percentage error value was obtained as 8,9. As a conclusion of this study, construction of an appropriate model, which will shed light on the relevant institutions, is revealed and future predictions are included.
