Abstract:

Prof. Dr. Fırat Purtaş1 is the editor of the work “Historical View of International Relations”, which consists of twenty articles, except the titles “Sunuş” and “Prof. Dr. Refet Yinanç Short Past”. The first article was presented by Refet Yinanç, and the last article was printed by the editor of the work Fırat Purtaş. The book was prepared as a gift to Prof. Dr. Refet Yinanç by students, colleagues and colleagues, after the teacher's death. In addition, the work consists of academic writings that aim to put the methodology that Yinanç represents, defends and teaches into practice. Refet Yinanç, who has contributed to the progress of each of the writers in the academic field, graduated from the History Department of the Faculty of Language and History of the University of Ankara in 1963 and graduated from the PhD at the Paris Sorbonne University between 1967 and 1973. In 1980 he won the title of professor, and in 1986 he was appointed as Professor of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Faculty of International Relations, Political History and Political History. Yinanç, who has long been chairman of the Department of International Relations of the I.I.B.F. University of Gazi, retired in 2006. There are many works published in the fields of History and International Relations of Yinanç, who died on 16.06.2019.
