Present study investigated the relationship between principals’ instructional leadership behaviors and teachers’ attitudes toward work. 225 teachers who work in the provinces of Istanbul, Ankara and Van in Turkey voluntarily participated in the study. Data were gathered through ‘instructional leadership scale (ILS)’, which was developed by Gümüşeli (1996), and ‘scale for attitude toward work (SFATW)’, which was developed by Balci et al. (2012) and analyzed with Pearson r and multiple regression analyzing techniques. Findings indicated that principals’ instructional leadership behaviors were significantly correlated with teachers’ attitudes toward work and principals’ instructional leadership behaviors predicted teachers’ attitudes toward work. Findings also showed that principals’ instructional leadership behaviors explained 27% of the variance in teachers’ attitudes toward work.
