İlmin kapsamına ve değerine dair düşünsel faaliyetlerin geçmişi çok eskilere dayanmaktadır. İnsanlar gerek kendi çabalarıyla edindikleri gerekse başkalarından kendilerine nakledilen bilgilerin hakikatle örtüşme durumunu sürekli sorgulamışlardır. Ne var ki ilmin kapsamı ve değeri konusunda onların ortak bir noktada buluşmaları mümkün olmamıştır. Bu durum Müslüman bilginler için de geçerlidir. Müslüman bilginler ilme yönelik yaklaşım biçimlerini Kur’an-ı Kerim ile Hz. Peygamberin sünnetini referans alarak belirleme gayreti içerisinde olmuşlardır. Ancak onlar çeşitli faktörlerin etkisiyle bilgi anlayışı konusunda birbirinden çeşitli yönleriyle farklılaşan görüşler ortaya koymuşlardır. Bu görüşler Müslüman halkın bilgi ile ilişki biçimini derinden etkilemiştir. İslam eğitimi kurumları da bu görüşlerden biri merkeze alınarak yapılandırılmıştır. Bu kurumların özellikle de belirli bir dönemden sonra çağın ve toplumun ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek nitelikte ilmi üretmekte yetersiz kalmış olmaları, onları idare eden zümrenin ilim anlayışı ile yakından ilişkilidir. Bu çalışmada, “Hz. Peygamberin ilim anlayışı nedir?” sorusuna cevap aranmıştır. Bu çerçevede cevabı aranan alt sorular ise şunlar olmuştur: Hz. Peygambere göre ilmin kaynağı ve kapsamı nedir? Hz. Peygamberin ilme ve ilim öğrenmeye verdiği değerin kaynağında ne vardır? Hz. Peygambere göre ilme ulaşma ve ilimden istifade etme sürecinde esas alınması gereken ilkeler nelerdir?
The scope and value of the thought activities are based on the very ancient. People have constantly questioned the situation of the truth of the information transmitted to them from others, whether they have achieved it by their own efforts. However, it was not possible for them to meet in a common point on the scope and value of the knowledge. This also applies to Muslim scientists. The Muslims know the forms of the Qur’an and the Qur’an. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). But they have shown different opinions on the different aspects of the understanding of information by the influence of various factors. These opinions have profoundly influenced the form of communication with the Muslim people. Islamic educational institutions are also structured by one of these views. The fact that these institutions, especially after a certain period of time, have not been able to produce knowledge in the capacity to respond to the needs of the age and society, is closely related to the knowledge of the community that manages them. In this study, “Hz. What is the knowledge of the Prophet? Reply to the question was asked. The answer to these questions is: Hz. What is the source and scope of knowledge? by Hz. What is the source of knowledge and knowledge that the Prophet has given to knowledge? by Hz. What are the principles that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has given to the knowledge and to the knowledge?
The history of intellectual activities regarding the scope and value of science goes back a long way. People have constantly questioned whether the information they have acquired through their own efforts or transferred to them from others coincides with the truth. However it was not possible for them to meet on a common point regarding the scope and value of science. Muslim scholars have made an effort to determine their approach to science with reference to the Quran and the Sunnah of the last prophet Muhammad. However under the influence of various internal or external factors, they have put forward different views on knowledge understanding in various aspects. Islamic education institutions are structured by taking one of these views into the center. The inadequacy of these institutions to produce knowledge that will meet the needs of the age and society especially after a certain period is closely related to the understanding of science of the group that manages them. In this study "What is the understanding of science of the last prophet Muhammad?" The answer to the question was sought. In the study data were collected by using document analysis method.
