The present study examined the relationship between meaning in life and life satisfaction and their relationship with anxiety among university students. Sample comprised of 100 male and female students from University of Peshawar. Sample was selected between ages 18-24. Life Regard Index (LRI), Multidimensional Student’s Life Satisfaction Scale (MSLSS) and IPAT Anxiety Scale were used. Simple correlation and independent sample t-test were used for analysis of data. Findings supported significant positive correlation between LRI and MSLSS as p<.05. The mean difference between LRI and IPAT Anxiety Scale is not statistically significant as p > .05, whereas the trend showed that those students who had meaning in life scored low on IPAT Anxiety Scale than those students who do not have or low levels of meaning in life. IPAT Anxiety Scale was found negatively related with LRI and MSLSS. But this relationship is not statistically significant as p >.05. The results supported the hypothesis and it was found that students with meaning in life had significantly higher levels of life satisfaction. It was also found that meaning in life and life satisfaction has inverse relation with anxiety.
