Abstract:

Türk halk kültüründe halk inanışlarının, büyülerin, kargışların ve yakarışların önemli bir yeri vardır. Zengin bir halk edebiyatı vücuda getirmiş olan Türk milletinin, zaman zaman değişmeler göstererek, geçmişten günümüze kadar taşıdığı çeşitli konu ve temalarda binlerce dua ve beddua mevcuttur. Bu dua ve beddualar içinde, Türk insanının mayasında olan, karakterine şekil veren yüceltilmiş değerlerin ve erdemli davranışların belirtildiği, vurgulandığı ve gelecek nesillere öğretmek amacıyla ortaya konduğu hikmetli sözler önemli bir yer tutar. Yapılan incelemede Terekeme-Karapapah Türklerinde dua ve beddua ilgili inanç, tören ve pratiklerde büyük müştereklikler olduğu görülmüştür.
