Introduction and aim: Physical inactivity is the primary risk factor for chronic diseases and health hazards, such as, combining this risk factor with others, as well as snuff using and not healthy feeding, are responsible for approximately 80,0% of not contagious chronic diseases (NCCD). This review aimed to identify articles that relate health promotion programs and it's interface with nutrition. Materials and methods: It was a systematic review, with electronic databases SCIELO, BIREME and LILACS combining theses descriptors in Portuguese: Physical activity and nutrition; physical activity and public health; physical activity and program. Were selected original articles, that evaluated Brazilian's physical activity programs, within nutritionist's role, published from 2004 to 2014. Were excluded review articles, from unindexed journals or that ones that didn't have referred nutritionist 's role. Were included, after complete readings of these studies and exclusion of repeated, 12 articles. Results: Most of the studies were did at southeast region and the most often nutritionist's role was about healthy feeding orientations, or advising based at Brazilian's population alimentary guide. Conclusion: Nutritionist's role at physical activities programs can be considered effective, because it resulted at lower risks of (NCCD). But combining interventions, showed being more effective to more reliable results.
