Abstract:

This study is aimed at studying the level of visual perception of primary school students. In the study, which combined relative scanning models, the visual perception levels were determined by the "Evolutionary Visual Perception Test-2". For the suitability of the scale to the age group of 8-9 students with 100 pre-study, reliability and validity have been tested. The scale determined suitability to the age group was reapplicated to 150 students and the visual perception levels were studied by gender, the relationship levels between the visual perception sub-tests were identified. The research finds that students’ general visual perceptions are at an average level. Students who are above the average in the visual-motor perception size are at the average level in the motor-independent visual perception size. Students have received the highest average of visual-motor speed and the lowest average in the location subtest. It has been determined that there is no influence of gender at the general level of visual perception, but that the age leads to significant differences. There is a meaningful relationship between general visual perception and its lower dimensions in a positive direction and a high level. The relationship between the sub-tests is also positive and meaningful.
