Abstract:

This study aims to determine vocational school students and instructors' views on the instructors’ usage of teaching tools and materials while taking classes. The study has been carried out on Ahi Evran University Vocational Schools’ Students and Instructors by using scanning method. 566 second-grade students and 74 instructors have been determined according to convenience sampling method. Research data has been collected by means of questionnaire prepared according to the experts’ opinions. The data has shown the frequency of the instructors’ usage of which teaching tools and materials while taking classes. The instructors have stated that most of the teaching tools and materials aren't suitable for being used during the courses and they aren't available at school. The conclusion of the study make it clear that sufficient teaching tools and materials aren't available at vocational schools and thus instructors cannot integrate them in their courses
