Cardiovascular diseases are one of the most common diseases worldwide and are still one of the most common reasons for mortality. Cardiac insufficiency problems are rapidly growing and the reason for this is coronary artery disease. While high blood pressure increases risk positions, it also sets a risk ground for additional cardiovascular diseases. There can be pulmonary high blood pressure in some patients with obstructive sleep apnea. Decreased depression and anxiety were observed in patients taking music therapy along with medical support, in addition to standard programs of heart rehabilitation. Music has strong effects on our health, both psychologically and physiologically. Music is systematically administered by a music therapist in a therapeutic relationship to meet physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs. In an investigation, it has been observed that music therapy affected hormones, such as serotonin, dopamine, adrenaline, testosterone, positively regulating emotional status of patients; regulated physiological functions, such as blood pressure and respiratory rhythm; established oxygen balance and bleeding of the brain; decreased anxiety levels, pain levels and amount of analgesic administration; and had a positive effect on sleep disorders. In this article, the effects of music therapy on physiological, psychological, and behavioral circumstances within the process of cardiovascular diseases have been mentioned.
