Abstract:

The aim of this study is to determine the research trends by examining the theses published between 2008-2021 on the question-based learning approach found in the "National Thesis Center" database. In the framework of this objective, published theses are described through content analysis by examining the purposes, methods, data collection tools, data analysis techniques, work groups, sampling sizes and the results and recommendations of research. The findings of the research designed by the visual content analysis method in the framework of the scan model are shown by percentage and frequency tables. The scope of the study was made up of 26 theses published between 2008-2021. The distribution of the theses is 19 of the master's theses and 7 of the doctor's theses, the research in the field is mainly shown to be carried out in 2019. When the studies are studied in terms of pattern and methods, the master's level of quantum research is more used in terms of doctor's level and the combined and qualitative research methods are more used. The research shows that the most success tests and attitude/intelligence scales have been used and the most meaningful methods have been used in data analysis, in addition to the quality analysis techniques, content analysis is primarily preferred in the analysis of quality data.
