Purpose: The study of patients with chronic obstructive lungs disease (KOAH) is the relationship between the diaphram thickness and respiratory function tests and symptom scores by measuring the diaphram thickness by ultrasound. Tools and Methods: The study of 53 patients with a clinically stable audience, which is being traced due to KOAH, has been included in the last two months. A 12% increase in the after-bronkodilatator FEV1 values was determined as criteria for the exclusion of any of the tests performed in the study of incompatibility, oxygen addiction, abdominal or torasic surgical stories. The KOAH level was classified according to spirometry measurements and GOLD criteria. The mMRC and CAT symptom scores test for quality of life assessment were recorded by asking the flamming numbers for the calculation of the composite KOAH scores measurement. Results: Patients with low KOAH levels found a significant relationship between FEV1 % and diaphragm thickness (r=0.62, p=0.017).
