Abstract:

The book was encouraged by the combination of the communications and negotiations presented in the international interest workshop that the Qur’an Research Foundation held in Bursa on 21-22 April 2018. Today, when we think that money has become a dominant power beyond being a price in commercial activities, the importance of interest-related work is better understood. In dozens of studies on the subject, the importance of the book is that participants consisting of lawyers, theologians and economists have addressed the interest in a broad way. When we say that the book is a book of interest, we do not complain about it. Those who have obtained or are receiving a bachelor’s degree in theology, law or economics and who are interested in the interest subject are the target audience of the book. Considering that the book was made with the joint contribution of many authors, it is easier to understand the difficulty of making an assessment of the language and style used in the book. However, it is possible to say that if we need to be a general assessment, a smooth and understandable style dominates the book. Sometimes the points that remain closed in the text of the message become clear in the negotiations and questions addressed to the communicator and received answers.
