Abstract:

Teaching books are the most important source for teachers and students to apply. The teaching books must be in the desirable character. In this regard, the research is aimed at determining the opinions of teachers about the 5th and 6th Class Science Curriculum, prepared and used for the revised science curriculum. The quality research approach has been used by the research method. The data was collected through semi-configured interviews with teachers. The teachers who used the specific books had 10 faces-to-face conversations with the teachers of science. The analysis of the data obtained from the opinions of the teachers of sciences has been done by creating various topics by grouping them according to similar and different situations. These topics are gathered in six categories: content, teaching approach, images, unit end teaching assistants, laboratory activities and physical characteristics. The most negative view of teachers is that the unit-end teaching assistants do not have the qualities they expect. However, the most positive opinion of teachers is that the physical characteristics of the book are successful. According to the teachers, 5. The class science conclusion has been that the curriculum does not have sufficient measurement evaluation sections, but that the book has sufficient characteristics in terms of its appearance and appearance. 6 . For the classbook, the conclusion has been achieved that all teachers believe that the activities in the book are appropriate and easy to apply to the student level. As a result, there are recommendations for those interested.
