Especially today femicides have gained an important place in the alternative media, and qualifies as a social problem, and takes place in all news mediums. This social problem has gained a quality that will create self-awareness and spread it through social media tools. In this study, the questions of active social media users’ attitudes on femicides on the alternative media, the effect of the social figures’ sharings, where the alternative media stand in relation to the traditional media and the sanctions against femicides, and how detrimental this audience finds the sanctions for femicide were questioned and conclusions were drawn from the obtained data. It is observed how effective the digital media is as a medium considering the audience that it reaches today, the content produced by the audience, and the campaigns aimed at the audience. As a purpose and method in the context of reflection of digital media on the femicide problem, data were collected and analyzed from the users of this media through questionnaires.
