The XIII. From the century, Christians began to use Rabbinic literature in order to object to the Jewish religion. This use shows itself in two ways. The first is to find evidence from the Jewish sacred book literature in order to support the truth about Christianity. The second is the attempt to explain that the literature that the Jews possess is invalid. In general, Christians accept Jewish sacred texts, but they call them "Old Testament" or "Old Tora" while they call their own sacred texts as "New Testament" or "New Tora". It is possible to say that Christians are divided into their general lines in their approach to the Jewish sacred texts. A group is attributing value to the Old Tora to a degree from the source and nature of the revelation, and the other group is attracting attention to the contradictions in its content and a number of defects with the arrival of the New Tora, emphasizing that the Old Testament is now invalid. According to the widespread Christian belief, the New Torah that comes with Jesus Christ is greater than the Old Torah, and it perfects it by removing the shortcomings of the Old Torah. This is unacceptable for the Jews. This article discusses the Jews’ responses to the criticism of Christians to the Tevrat and the Jews’ criticism of the Bible.
