Abstract:

Comic films, 2. It was used by the United States as a propaganda tool against Nazi Germany, which was included in the Allied States Block during the World War.For this purpose,Walt Disney, the most popular media company in the United States, took an active role in American propaganda. In the Walt Disney cartoons, it is said that the Nazis influenced the German people through propaganda, as Harold Lasswell pointed out in the Hypodermic Injection Model. In fact, the cartoons emphasized that the minds of the German people were completely under the control of the Nazis. In this study, Listverse identified the 10 most famous anti-Nazi Walt Disney-made cartoons, in the three cartoons, which were determined using the aim-based sample method, the U.S. propaganda studied how Harold Lasswell presented the Nazis in the context of the Hypodermic Injection Model. The cartoons studied in the framework of the study, using the indicative analysis method included in the quality research methods, were analyzed in the dimensions of detonation (detonation) and connotation (connotation) by French language scientist Roland Barthes. In light of the findings obtained, the cartoons used for propaganda purposes revealed that the Nazis effectively used the means of mass communications to push the German people and ultimately, with the influence of propaganda, the Germans did everything Hitler said.
