Abstract:

It is considered important to determine the perspectives of educators on the 2023 Education Vision document and to determine the views of teachers on the applicability of the goals specified in the basic education section. The purpose of this research is to identify the problems determined by the educators for the basic education goals in the 2023 education vision, to collect the data related to the content and to identify the proposals. In this study, which is based on the qualitative research approach, the phenomenology design was used. The interview form developed by the researchers was used in the study. The study group was determined according to criterion sampling, one of the purposeful sampling methods. Within the scope of the research, a total of 11 people, including six teachers, four school administrators and one undergraduate student working in basic education institutions, were interviewed. Research data were analyzed by content analysis technique. Codes were determined in the collected opinions, the relations between codes were determined and categories were created. The participants of the research stated the strong and open aspects in the implementation of the 2023 Education Vision Basic Education goalsand explained the risks and the measures to be taken accordingly. Problem areas specific to the field of basic education were identified and solution suggestions were developed.
