Abstract:

The method of mining operations made in the form of the production of the mining beds that are economically suitable in the form of the direct mining of those near the surface, while the mining beds that are in the depths after the removal of the cover layer that covers it is called open business in mining. The Avnik railway plant, which operates the most important rail beds in our country, is 40 km from the province of Bingöl. In the framework of this study, Avnik open January rail operation's shell stability was examined. The depth of the open January operation is 333 m today. In the framework of the field work open January operations litological changes and stone mass characteristics have been determined. Cuts have been taken from the open January operations and the limit balance analysis and the final elements method on these cuts have been performed in static and dynamic situations. According to the results of the analyses, the shifts located in the northern region of the open January operations have been found to be approaching the limit balance in dynamic conditions and the safety rates have been reduced.
