Abstract:

Street rehabilitation, which has been implemented since the 1980s, is the repair/improvement of historical city building groups that have not lost their originality. In the study, it is aimed to examine the theses on the subject of Street Rehabilitation using the bibliometric analysis method. The subject of the study is scanned in the National Thesis Center, with limitations such as the scanning format of six different keywords, including street rehabilitation, street improvement, street rehabilitation, facade improvement, facade improvement and facade rehabilitation, the area to be searched, and search type. Thesis findings are obtained on 01.04.2022-11.04.2022. Data findings cover the years 1991-2022. The thesis work obtained in total is 210, when the overlapping thesis studies are excluded, it is 146. When the studies that are not related to the subject are separated, 28 thesis studies that are the subject of the study are obtained. Examined studies are listed in Microsoft Excel program and converted into graphs and tables. According to keywords, 88 theses are the most in facade improvement word in thesis types, 2019 is the most used in thesis types according to years, the most resource use in the sources used in the theses is the thesis numbered 673718, architecture in the subjects of the theses, Istanbul Technical University with 5 in the universities where the theses are published, The keywords in the theses, the cities that are the subject of the thesis, the titles of which the theses are consulted, the field of study and research methods of the theses, the consultancy titles in the theses are evaluated. It is requested that the study contribute to the future research on street rehabilitation.
