Abstract:

There are eight kinds of intelligence. These kinds of intelligence are present in all individuals, but the kinds of intelligence of individuals have evolved at different degrees. This theory has changed the traditional learning-learning approaches. The multi-intelligence theory claims that the student can develop his own type of intelligence with the help of the teacher.The purpose of this research is to investigate the change in the student intelligence at the beginning and at the end of the semester. In this study, 723 students from 12 different departments at Kahramanmaraş Sütçü Imam University participated in the Multiple Intelligence Inventory. In the analysis of data, identifiable statistics, correlation analysis and Kay-Care analysis have been used. One of the findings of the study is that there is no difference between gender and type of intelligence. Another result is that the number of people with musical intelligence has increased after basic education.
