Bağlama edatları ile kurulan yardımcı cümleler, ilk olarak Uygurlar döneminde Soğud ve Tohar gibi İranlı kavimlerin etkisiyle kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Ki bağlama edatıyla kurulan yardımcı cümleler de Farsçadan çevirilerin yapıldığı Eski Anadolu Türkçesi döneminde yaygın olarak görülmektedir. Türkçenin yapısına uymayan ki’li birleşik cümleler, bugün Türkiye Türkçesinde sıfat-fiil, zarf-fiil, isim-fiil eklerini kullandığımız için çok yaygın değildir. Bu yazıda, Anadolu ağızlarında ki’li yardımcı cümlelerin kullanımını ve temel cümledeki görevlerini Anadolu ağızları metinlerinden seçtiğimiz örneklerle göstermeye çalışacağız
