Abstract:

Anatolia is defined by its geographical location, the European-Siberian, Mediterranean and Iran-Turan Phytocographical Areas, its rich topography and many different macro and micro habitats in which climate conditions form. As a result of these characteristics, it is stated that Anadolu has a rich fauna. On the other hand, because of its continent-specific structure and its formation of a area through which important bird migration routes pass, it also has a rich bird fauna. Especially in the south of Turkey, during the north-south and south-south migration, the Mediterranean has important areas of accommodation, nutrition and reproduction before and after the barrier. The university campuses are also creating important residential areas for birds and in recent years, research and theses are being conducted, including the study of campus birds. The study was conducted in the 2017-2018 years at the Düzce University Konuralp Placement located in Düzce Province. The observations were made two times a day each month, two days a week, morning (07.00-10.00) and evening (16.00-17.30). According to the data obtained in the study, a total of 58 species were identified in the area, including 2 double living (Amphibia), 4 reptilians (Reptilia), 42 birds (Aves) and 10 mammals (Mammalia).
