Ottoman empire got potrayed true to the political, cultural and literary conjunctural of the time in his poetry. Altough, this could be said to be particle to Eshghi, we can see the same trace in other patriotic Iranian poets of the time. He met Turkish intellectuals such as Ali Nihad Tarlan, Huseyin Danis Pedram and Riza Tevfik. We can infer that he was influenced by Tevfik Fikret's reformist ideas, yet he would still talk in favour of Ottoman-Iranian alliance against the West, or answer Turanists very harshly on occasion, or accuse the Iranian committee of treachery for negotiating with Ottomans. Eshghi, had a short but accomplished life. In this article, we will try to present Eshghi’s perception of the Ottoman Empire and Turks by referring to his poetry
