In this study, the relationship between real GDP, foreign direct investment, human capital and total factor productivity is examined for the period from 1985 to 2014 in Turkey using with ARDL bound test. According to the findings, the impact of economic growth on total factor productivity is positive, the effect of human capital on factor productivity is positive but statistically insignificant in the short run. The effect of foreign direct investment on factor productivity is statistically insignificant. In the long-run, the impact of economic growth and foreign direct investment on factor productivity is statistically insignificant; the effect of human capital on total factor productivity is positive.
